The grain elevator is the symbol of rural Alberta, and Three Hills is no different. This is our local grain elevator, complete with its age and weather worn tin.

Lahore Mosque. What attracted this scene to me most was the vibrant colours from the sunshine and the jagged lines of sunshine making their way through the awnings. I wanted this painting to reflect the primary colours, and give off feelings of strong yellows, reds and blues throughout.

It’s hard not to go overboard with my love of boats. I feel I could paint boats forever and not grow bored of them (I won’t test that theory).

This was an easter painting. I don’t paint flowers very often, but really enjoyed playing with the soft and loose edges in this one.

Riding the train in Pakistan is one of the special memories that come with childhood there. This one captures the bustling station in my hometown.

I wanted to capture the creeping shadow and the golden sunshine coming through the trees in this painting of my old dorm in Pakistan.

Sunshine is fringed with fire. I loved the beauty of the sun coming through these red curtains, and the glow that it gave this whole hallway.
